When to Go to Baños
We must remember that Baños is a sierra town, being subject to the weather in this area which has a relatively dry season from April to November, which is sometimes interrupted by heavy rainfalls that my take you by surprise; for this reason we recommend you take precautions and pack clothes for wet weather: generally at this time of year you will find the mornings somewhat cold, but as the day goes on, the temperature may rise to 26°Celsius, descending again as from 4 pm.
Baños has a temperate climate with an average temperature of 18°Celsius and is at an altitude of 1,820 meters above sea level on the slopes of Tungurahua Volcano.
